I am completely allergic to parties that other women throw at their homes to sell things. I don't mind parties or even parties with all women what I hate is the obligatory shopping. I hate the idea of going, but I like the idea of having friends. If I don't go will they not invite me to things that don't involve shopping. If I go, I feel uncomfortable, unfriendly and risk not being invited to things that don't involve shopping. I like to shop on my own, in a store, without alcohol or food. Am I crazy?

Glee
Okay, so I am probably too old to be in the demographic that Glee is hoping for, but I LOVE it. Clint thinks I only like the show because Becca likes it. That's probably part of it, but as Becca told me tonight, it reminds her of our performances when we were little and I think that's it. We did some awesome shows to Whitney, Madonna and even NKOTB. It's too bad we weren't graced with the same talent as those in our extended family. So now I'm just enjoying watching the show and the nostalgia it brings. I just hope that because it's gotten so popular that it becomes ridiculous. Oh well. I told Clint tonight that I wish life was like a musical. I'm pretty sure I'm going to break into song in a meeting tomorrow. Maybe not out loud but for sure in my head.

Boots?
Today I channeled my inner T.E.D. and wore my wedding boots to work with regular dress pants… Not cute. Don't try it. Boots go really well with: jeans, bridesmaid's dresses, wedding dresses but not dress pants. The bad news is that I looked like a dork all day long. The good news is I thought of dad all day long. So really it was awesome!
